In the Fashion industry it's all about who and where, who you know and going to one of the fashion capital to stay in the loop: NYC,milan, miami, LA, Paris. I'd start by contacting the people at your fav companies and network like crazy, let every body know that you are looking for a Fashion GIG. Oh and get Womens Wear Daily, it's the Fashion Supepages.
- I know b/c I graduated from the Craft Fashion Institute here in Philly. So I'm teliing you from my mistakes.

I got accepted to International Academy of Design and Technology-Chicago and Art Institute-Phoenix but they're very expensive. Universities would be cheaper.

ugh, don't you hate it when people don't help the situation, but just say "well you should have done this…"

It's a college matchmaker form that you fill out, and in the end, it will give you a list of universities that meet the requirements you entered. You don't have to answer all of the questions. It lets you choose a price range, major, on-campus activities, ect…

I was wondering I was searching for jobs and I haven’t seen any results.

That's a tough business to just break into. You usually have to either have already been in "the fashion business" or know someone who is or that you're very well known and extremely talented in some phase of the business.

Having said that, I would suggest you try to find a novel way to break in. Good Luck with that.

Cannot think of many jobs in that field at all apart from retail outlet .
But for that you do not need any degree. I would stay clear of such a study because you may end up wasting your time. It would be a lot better to get a nursing degree but then you need to study science. Very high paying jobs in every city, state, and town.

I’m gonna take the program of fashion arts(marketing) in Humber College. But I’m also thinking about the fashion management in George Brown. I wanna know which college is better in fashion education? Actually I’ve compared the two courses and I prefer to the Humber one. But I’m an international student and I have no idea about the reputation between the two schools. Please give me advise. Thanks a lot!

I don’t really know specifically about the program you want to go to but Humber apparently has a very good reputation. I’m going for Business – Marketing at Humber for that very reason. Take a look at the Macleans survey comparing Ontario colleges and why not visit the campuses

Fashion Shows, they are an event that needs management and are used to promote fashion. The fashion stuff could be your core product, and the event management stuff can help you promote it. If you were also became good at getting sponsors your shows can make you money regardless of whether or not you sell any fashion. When your fashion stuff starts selling, you get even more money.
