Yes, Montreal has a world renowned Fashion School known as LaSalle College, they have tons of Fashion Internships however i'm not sure if you need to be a student there or not.

You need to learn to sketch yourself. Take an art class and sketch something, anything, EVERY day. And (and this is very important) remember this is JUST a sketch, it isn't supposed to look perfect or amazing, it's just to get an idea of the thing.
