Which are the best colleges/universities to study Fashion Design and Merchandising in Australia?

I would also like to find out if I’m eligible to study in a public university and/or to obtain a scholarship.
I'm from Mexico and would be on a study visa. I'm planning to go sometime during 2009, probably June/July.
I always heard that Melbourne was the best place.

The White house institute… There is one in Syndey & Melbourne that I know of.
If you watch Australias version of project runway, you’ll see they use the insitute as the place where they design/make their garments.
